I named my blog after the town of Bella Coola, BC because I thought it would be a cool name for a beauty blog. It is in no way named after Bella from Twilight. There are so many lovely products in the industry and everybody uses it differently, so I wanted to start my own blog to showcase some of my adventures in makeup and sometimes fashion. I think it is a good way to document my style, taste and what I like during this period in my life. Though I have been playing with makeup and fashion since Grade 8, I was too shy and unconfident to document those years in my life. Even though I am pretty sure those are disastrous experimental years LOL! I think I am still experimenting and learning. I am not an expert and I am not a makeup artist or esthetician. I must admit that I am really only an expert in what works for me and what works for me may not work for others. My techniques aren’t perfect, but I always have fun playing and experimenting with make up. This blog is a hobby and another creative platform for me.
Some tibits about myself is that I love cats and I am scared of moths. I love to watch nature shows and I have soft spot for baby animals. In high school and university I had an obsession with butterflies and dragonflies and I never outgrew my love with Hello Kitty. I am interested in all areas of design: fashion, graphics, interior and architectural. I hope to fine a career in architecture.
