The last time I wore and showed off American Apparel’s Office nailpolish was during the dead, cold, gray winter. The pictures during the winter just didn’t show the polish justice. In the pictures, the polish looks a bit bluish but in real life it is a muted mint green with gray undertones. Office is perfect for both spring and winter. The pastel for spring and the muted grayness for winter. The sunlight shows off the colour in the pictures so much better. Office is a creamy minty green with no shimmer or glitter. It dries to a smooth glossy finish. The polish is a streaky one, but I think I have found a good technique the second time around.
For this streaking baby, I had to practice some patience. I need three coats for a full even opaque finish. First, apply a thin coat and wait two minutes to dry; second apply a medium thick coat and wait five minutes to dry; and third coat apply a medium thick coat and wait five minutes to dry. And of course, start and end with a base and topcoat. To get Office to look streak free will take extra time and patience. I didn’t mind because I like the colour and is willing put in the extra application time and dry time. I would just take some extra time during the evening while watching TV to paint my nails and kick back and relax.

That looks just like the color I am wearing now, Orly in Gumdrop. Great color!
I have got to check out Orly Gumdrop, I love mint greens.
