Above left to right: MAC Lipgelée in Shift to Pink and Preppy
I have a soft spot for pink lipsticks, pink lipglosses with glitter and shimmer. During the spring and summer months, I love myself a hot pink lip. I have always liked MAC Lipgelées but find most of them a bit too sheer for my liking. These goodies from Lillyland exceed my expectations in colour payoff and its non-sticky texture. The texture is very smooth and jelly like and the colour distributes evenly on my lips. I agree that these are like Dazzleglass only non-sticky and better! They smell strongly of vanilla and I can smell the vanilla even when the cap is on. These are very pretty and I knew I have to pick up the two glosses that in pink and lilac.
When I saw the preview pictures, I knew I want Shift to Pink and Preppy the most. These colours are gorgeous and compliment the Cremeblend Blushes really well, especially Florida and So Sweet So Easy. Initially I talked myself out of buying these before I saw them in person because I thought they would be sheer; however, these are very pigmented and very buildable. I can get a sheer wash of colour with light sparkle and light sheen but I can build up the colour to an opaque, high shine and very shimmery finish. These look great layered over lipsticks in a corresponding colour too. Personally, I like to wear these as a full coverage gloss to show off the colour and the sparkle.

Preppy is a hot blue pink with pink pearl. Hot pink seems very typical during the warmer months and there are a lot of hot pinks out there in various cosmetics lines, but I just love shades like these. The pink pearl in the gloss gives the colour a lot of dazzle and jazz which makes it a bit different. It just makes me happy wearing a bright pink in the spring and summer months after wearing a lot of neutrals in the fall.

Shift to Pink is a lilac pink with pink and silver pearl. This colour runs on the cool side and it is very pretty. The colour reminds me of MAC Fashion Mews lipstick, but I find Shift to Pink much more wearable because is not not as cool or gray. Shift to Pink has a a lot of pink in it, which makes it much more wearable. This colour is very cute and very Barbie like. It is a very feminine and girly colour that is perfect for spring.
