LOTD MAC Warm Me Up vs MAC High Def Lipsticks

In the tube, MAC Warm Me up and High Def lipsticks look almost dead on the same. They are both neutrals and are Amplified Cremes. Both are pigmented, opaque, creamy and has a light sheen to it. I find the texture neither drying or moisturizing. Both of these lipsticks survived about 4-5 hours after eating and drinking with a fork and straw. Even after a meal, there is still a hint of colour clinging on my lips but the sheen fades away. Colour wise, High Def is more of a brownish pink and is more neutral than Warm Me up. I find High Def has a more natural fleshy colour that reflects the natural colour of my lips. When I wear High Def, it looks like a MLBB (my lips but better) colour. Warm Me up is more vibrant and is a peachy pink. It is still a natural colour but it is a bit brighter than High Def. It is difficult to tell in the lip swatches but you can distinguish the colour differences more in these FOTDs: Urban Decay Ecstasy with Warm Me Up; Urban Decay YDK with Warm Me Up; Medusa’s Makeup Desert Storm with High Def. Personally, these colours are so close, I don’t think it is necessary to own both and there are also close dupes readily available in the permanent collection. However, I love neutrals like these and I can’t get enough of them and will be wearing these a lot. One can be the back of up of each other should I finish one of them first. i can’t have enough neutral lipsticks too. my staples are MAC slimshine in bare and Bobbi Brown lipstick in Sandwash pink and gloss in Pink Buff. maybe i’ll give the Warm Me Up a try!
