Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol II is sooo popular, it is now sold out in both my local Sephora stores and online, following the success of Volume I. A few weeks ago, I finally picked up a box of Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol II, with the Sephora $15 off coupon. This set at regular price is $58 CAD but I got it at $43, which works out to be $2.26 per piece for 19 pieces of makeup. This set includes 16 eyeshadows, two half sized 24/7 Glide on Pencils and one travel sized Urban Decay Shadow Primer Potion.
At first look and from playing with the products, I was impressed with the colours and quality of the eyeshadows. I am a fan of the 24/7 Glide on Pencils and I definitely love those because depending on the colours, they rarely fail me. I have heard a lot of good things about the Urban Decay Shadow Primer Potion, so I cannot wait to try it. I have had this set for a few weeks now but did not have time to play around with it yet, so I can’t wait to play around with the products. The packaging is cute with Art Deco inspired peacock feathers in the flaps inside. The flap opens up to reveal a look book of makeup inspirations with the products. It has a hidden drawer containing the eyeshadows, liners and primer. I will be back with a review and swatches soon.
