LOTD Fun Ways to Wear Medusa’s Makeup Mineral Eye Dusts: As Lipstick/Lipgloss! Pink Edition

I love to wear Medusa’s Makeup Mineral Eye Dust often, because of the high colour payoff and long wear time. Since their eye dusts are all natural, you can wear them anywhere you want. For the next couple of weeks, I will be doing entries on creative and alternative ways to wear these eye dust. Up first are the pinks, I rarely wear hot pink eyeshadow, but I love hot pink lips!

*Tip: To make a lipstick, I used Medusa’s Makeup Stick It! Primer, a all natural wax based primer to create a matte/cream look. For a glossy look, feel free to add lipgloss on top or just mix clear lipgloss with the loose pigments. Mix until you get your desired intensity.

One of my favourite shades a hot fuchsia colour with blue undertones and pink shimmer. It is pigmented and opaque.

Passion is a shimmery fluorescent pink. This colour is a bit light and sheer on my lips.

Pink Cadillac medium toned hot pink with a purple iridescence to it. This one is nice and pigmented.

Pretty in Pink is a light pink with micro silver shimmer. This colour goes on a bit frosty.

Cupcake is a pastel pink that goes on very sheer and light. It is also very frosty, almost too frosty for my taste. On my lips it looks way too white. Cupcake is very hard to work with on my lips, as it applies blotchy and is hard to make it look smooth.

Flamingo is also one of my favourites as a lip colour. It is a purplish pink with purple iridescence. It applies very pigmented and opaque. It is also the most unique out of all the pinks in the eye dust collection.
