Hi ladies, here are some lip swatches of the Medusa’s Makeup Lipglosses I own personally. Please note that I don’t own all the colours and did not swatch those. Colours missing include: Conscious, Whispers, Smooch, Loud Mouth and Talk Talk.
The pictures of the screen also doesn’t do the colours justice because the pictures’ resolution get so compressed. The colours look much more vibrant and lovely in person.
Sparkle Mania: This is vanilla scented. It is clear with silver sparkles. You can wear this alone for some sheen and glitter for your lips or you can layer it over another lipstick or lipgloss that is more pigmented.
French Kiss: This is strawberry scented and is a medium toned pink. It has a silvery frosty cast to it. This builds up to a semi-opaque colour. Unlike most pink frosty lip products I have tried the frost did not add a white cast to my lips. This gloss took 2 layers of gloss to achieve tube colour.
Loverboy: This is bubble gum scented. Loverboy is my favourite colour from the collection, it is a bright intense hot pink. It has light shimmer without glitter. It is highly pigmented and it only took two coats to achieve tube colour. The pink is also a lot more intense in real life than on screen and is quite opaque.
Gossip: This is a pink purple/lilac colour and has a blue iridescence to it. It also smells like cherries. The colour is on the warm side and since it has lots of pink in the colour, I find it very wearable. This gloss is a little on the sheer side but after 2-3 layers it achieves the tube colour.
Rumours: On screen Rumours look similar to Gossip (above), it looks like a cool toned purple and has a lot more blue tones in it. It also gives a blue iridescence to it. Similar to Gossip it is also on the sheer side but the colour and shine are very buildable. The gloss smells like grapes. For this colour it took about 2-3 layers of gloss to achieve tube colour.
Bite Me: I would describe this as an apple red or maybe even a vampire red depending on my mood. It has very subtle gold shimmer to it to add dimension to the gloss. It is very pigmented but with a slight sheerness. The gloss smells like watermelon. I can achieve the tube colour in 1 layer of gloss.
Temptation: This gloss smells like grapes. The colour is a brown, vampy maroon red to me with lots of gold spark to it. This colour is very autumn to me because it has just the right amount of spiciness to the colour. Temptation is one of my to go colours if I want a darker lip. It is very pigmented and I can achieve the tube colour in one layer of gloss. One bad thing about this colour is that it does seep into my lip lines a bit but not enough to bother me.
