Hi Ladies, I finally have the opportunity to do some quick swatches of the Style Black/DSquared Greasepaint Sticks. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to do a full swatch on each eye, so I showed these as an eyeliner. As a contact lens wearer, my eyes won’t be able to handle constant and heavy swatching non stop, but stay tuned for an EOTD or FOTD using just the greasepaint sticks. I can’t wait to play with them as just an eyeshadow, like the DSquare editorial ads!

I don’t have any problems using these as liners straight from the tube, but my friend suggested using the MAC 208 or 209 brush to create a more precise and clean line.
I’m crushing hard on these Greasepaint Sticks too…though I’ll only get Intense Black, I think. What are your thoughts on these? Do they crease or smudge a lot? Staying power? Sorry, question overload, LOL
I really like these greasepaint sticks too and if you were to only get one Intense Black is a good basic one to get because it will be nice for a broad range of dark colours. I don’t have any problems with creasing with these sticks. As for smudging you will need to smudge fast or keep on adding product as you work because it dries and sets very quickly. I was able to get at least 8 hours of wear without further smudging or flaking before I washed off all my makeup.
