This liquid turns eye dust and eyeshadow into liquid eyeliner that dries and sets very quickly. It also turns Medusa’s eyeshadows and eye dusts into paint like consistency. You can paint on your eyeliner, eyeshadow or even do body paint. Just mix equal parts eye makeup and equal parts eyeliner seal and get creative with your makeup brushes. I have used this with my MAC eyeshadows and pigments, as well as Medusa Eye Dusts and it works beautifully. I have even used this to tame and set my eyebrows after I use brow powder. Usually, I used this for eyeliners that is supposed to smudge, such as MAC Eye Kohl and MAC Pearl Glide liner. I would smudge out the liners until I get the desired look and then I would paint the eyeliner seal over the liner to prevent it from fading or smudging further. When I apply the eyeliner seal my liner lasts for about 8-10 hours without fading and further smudging, until I remove my makeup. I tested this by gently tugging on my lash line. My lower lash line didn’t budge and the colour didn’t smear. I noticed on my upper lash line a little colour came off on my fingers but the liner didn’t move. I am usually heavy handed with eyeliner for my upper lash line, so I think if I used more sealer it would work better. This product reminds me of Benefit’s She-laq makeup sealer, but without the stickiness. It does, however, give me a tingly feeling on my lash line when I used it. The tingly feeling doesn’t last long and it doesn’t feel burningly uncomfortable. Use this sparingly, because if too much of the sealer run into the eye it is uncomfortable and burns. The sealer is smudge proof, fade proof and water resistant. Unless you are going to be exposed to lots of water, such as swimming or snowboarding, heavy rain, I don’t see your liner running or melting away while using this product. My didn’t come off until I washed my face. This is definitely a cheaper alternative to Benefit’s She-laq, being $12.00 CAD and $9.00 USD. The fact that it is not sticky makes it a plus.
